The festival encompassed an abundance of cultural expressions, including: live storytelling; local artist activations; pop-up food and culinary experiences, immersive installations for collective visioning, poetry, and other creative projects; walking the land while hearing the stories of soils, seeds, crops and animals; dancing; and of course, some pie.

Collaborating elders of the Amah Mutsun tribal band and Pie Ranch staff, the Joy Jam Mandala was designed and co- facilitated as an interactive community practice to immerse participants in the story of Pie Ranch, cultivating a sense of ecology, stewardship, and reciprocity with the land.
